Managing SSAS Contacts

You can view the SSAS Contacts via two ways.

Add SSAS Contacts via Vessel Details

  1. Navigate to Fleet and select the vessel from the left sidebar.
  2. Select Full Details → SSAS and Tracking tab.

Manage Contacts via Fleet → SSAS Alerts

  1. Navigate to Fleet → SSAS Alerts.
  2. Select the vessel requiring contact configuration from All Configured Vessels.
  3. Navigate to the 'SSAS and Tracking' tab.
  4. In the SSAS Contacts section, select either 'Select Existing' or '+ New Contact'.
  5. Enter the recipient’s Name and choose Email or SMS. You can add additional methods if required.
    • For SMS, include the country code with a + prefix.
  6. Once the recipient is added, you can configure the following:
    • The Email Template
    • Test – Sent when the communicator triggers a SSAS alert whilst in test mode. Test alerts contain 'TEST'
    • Live – Sent when the communicator triggers a real SSAS alert.
    • Reset – Sent when a SSAS alert is reset.

Notification Details:

  • Email notifications include both a basic alert and a detailed message with vessel info, weather, and nearest port.
  • SMS notifications contain essential SSAS alert information.

Use Contact Lists for Multiple Vessels

  1. Navigate to Configure → Contact Lists.
  2. In the Contacts tab, select New Contact to add entries to your organisation’s contact database.
  3. You can select via Contacts or Contacts List
  4. In the Contacts tab, select + New Contact
  5. Proceed to add any contacts with either Email or SMS
  6. In the Contact Lists tab, select New SSAS List.
  7. Add contacts from your database or create new ones.
  8. Assign the contact list to specific vessels or vessel groups.

Select Confirm then Save to apply changes.
