<h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">Main Navigation</h3>After logging in, you’ll see the main navigation tabs across the top of the screen:<ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Fleet Displays your assigned vessels and provides access to vessel tracking, SSAS alerts, AIS search, and security information.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Views Allows you to create and view custom dashboards featuring charts, graphs, and data cards tailored to your operational needs.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Configure Opens account settings and configuration tools such as Charter Party Criteria, Geo Zones, Contact Lists, Emissions, and Vessel Rules.</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">Routes Displays Standard Routes, Optimised Routes, and Assigned Routes for your fleet.</li></ul><hr><h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">Top Bar Elements</h3>The top bar provides quick access to key tools and account settings:<ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Search Bar Located at the top centre, this allows you to quickly find vessels or views.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Notification Bell Displays alerts for SSAS activations, late or missing reports, and other important notifications.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Profile Menu Found in the top-right corner, providing access to User Settings, Organisation Settings, and Logout.</li></ul><hr><h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">Fleet Page</h3><ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Accessing the Fleet Page Select the Fleet tab to view your vessels on an interactive map.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Vessel List and Details The vessel list appears on the left-hand side. Click any vessel to view its current position and key details. Select Full Details to access more comprehensive information, including:</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem LexTKB__nestedListItem"><ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">General Details</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">SSAS and Tracking</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Routes</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">Voyages</li><li value="5" class="LexTKB__listItem">Position Reports</li></ul></li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Sub-tabs The Fleet page includes additional sub-tabs: Vessels, SSAS Alerts, AIS, and Piracy — each providing access to specific features.</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">Weather Overlays Use the cloud icon in the top-right corner of the map to enable weather and sea state overlays. You can toggle these on or off and adjust their opacity with the slider.</li></ul><hr><h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">Views Page</h3><ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Accessing Views Select the Views tab to open your custom dashboards.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Recent and New Views</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem LexTKB__nestedListItem"><ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Recent Views appear at the top for quick access.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">To create a new dashboard, select New View in the top-right corner.</li></ul></li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">View Content Each view contains interactive cards displaying information such as charts, graphs, vessel itineraries, and data tables.</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">Timeline Control Use the timeline at the bottom of each view to adjust the displayed date range and current time.</li></ul><hr><h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">Configure Page</h3><ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Accessing Configuration Select the Configure tab to manage your organisation’s account and operational settings.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Admin Access Admin users can open Organisation Settings from the profile menu to manage users, vessels, vessel groups, and organisation-wide settings.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Available Tools Within Configure, you can access:</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem LexTKB__nestedListItem"><ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Charter Party Criteria</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Geo Zones</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Vessel Rules</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">Contact Lists</li><li value="5" class="LexTKB__listItem">and other configuration tools.</li></ul></li></ul><hr><h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">Routes Page</h3>Accessing Routes Select the Routes tab to view and manage routes for your fleet.Sections Overview<ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Standard Routes: Displays saved routes that can be uploaded or created using the Podium Route Finder service.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Optimised Routes: Shows weather-optimised routes based on oceanographic and meteorological data.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Assigned Routes: Lists routes currently assigned to vessels in your fleet.</li></ul><hr><h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">User Permissions</h3>Podium access levels vary based on user role:<ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Admin Users Have full access to all features, including account settings, configuration tools, and user management.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Editor Users Can edit vessel details, create views, and use most features, but cannot modify organisation-level settings.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Viewer Users Can view the Fleet page and certain Configure pages but cannot change configurations or create new content.</li></ul>

<h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">Managing SSAS Contacts</h3>You can view the SSAS Contacts via two ways.<h4 class="LexTKB__h4" dir="ltr">Add SSAS Contacts via Vessel Details</h4><ol class="LexTKB__ol1"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Navigate to Fleet and select the vessel from the left sidebar.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Select Full Details → SSAS and Tracking tab.</li></ol><h4 class="LexTKB__h4" dir="ltr">Manage Contacts via Fleet → SSAS Alerts</h4><ol class="LexTKB__ol1"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Navigate to Fleet → SSAS Alerts.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Select the vessel requiring contact configuration from All Configured Vessels.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Navigate to the 'SSAS and Tracking' tab.</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">In the SSAS Contacts section, select either 'Select Existing' or '+ New Contact'.</li><li value="5" class="LexTKB__listItem">Enter the recipient’s Name and choose Email or SMS. You can add additional methods if required.</li><li value="6" class="LexTKB__listItem LexTKB__nestedListItem"><ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">For SMS, include the country code with a + prefix.</li></ul></li><li value="6" class="LexTKB__listItem">Once the recipient is added, you can configure the following:</li><li value="7" class="LexTKB__listItem LexTKB__nestedListItem"><ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">The Email Template </li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Test – Sent when the communicator triggers a SSAS alert whilst in test mode. Test alerts contain 'TEST'</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Live – Sent when the communicator triggers a real SSAS alert.</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">Reset – Sent when a SSAS alert is reset.</li></ul></li></ol>Notification Details:<ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Email notifications include both a basic alert and a detailed message with vessel info, weather, and nearest port.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">SMS notifications contain essential SSAS alert information.</li></ul><hr><h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">Use Contact Lists for Multiple Vessels</h3><ol class="LexTKB__ol1"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Navigate to Configure → Contact Lists.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">In the Contacts tab, select New Contact to add entries to your organisation’s contact database.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">You can select via Contacts or Contacts List</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">In the Contacts tab, select + New Contact</li><li value="5" class="LexTKB__listItem">Proceed to add any contacts with either Email or SMS</li><li value="6" class="LexTKB__listItem">In the Contact Lists tab, select New SSAS List.</li><li value="7" class="LexTKB__listItem">Add contacts from your database or create new ones.</li><li value="8" class="LexTKB__listItem">Assign the contact list to specific vessels or vessel groups.</li></ol>Select Confirm then Save to apply changes.

<h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">SSAS Test Mode Procedure</h3>Before performing a test, schedule a test time with the vessel master or crew.<ol class="LexTKB__ol1"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Navigate to the vessel’s 'SSAS &amp; Tracking' tab.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Select the three dots next to the active communicator.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Choose the duration and select Enter Test Mode.</li></ol>Alternatively, you can:<ol class="LexTKB__ol1"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Navigate to Fleet → SSAS Alerts.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Select the vessel from All Configured Vessels.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Choose the test duration. The following options can be selected</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem LexTKB__nestedListItem"><ol class="LexTKB__ol2"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">30 Minutes</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">60 Minutes</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">90 Minutes</li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">120 Minutes</li></ol></li><li value="4" class="LexTKB__listItem">Select Enter Test Mode before pressing and initiating any alert buttons.</li><li value="5" class="LexTKB__listItem">The Master or crew proceeds to presse the SSAS button onboard.</li></ol>Additional Information:<ul class="LexTKB__ul"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Only Test Alert Recipients receive notifications during test mode.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Test notifications include the word “Test” to distinguish them from live alerts.</li></ul>Test mode expires automatically after the set duration, or you can manually select Deactivate Test Mode to end early.<hr><h3 class="LexTKB__h3" dir="ltr">Resetting SSAS Alerts</h3>After an SSAS alert is received:<ol class="LexTKB__ol1"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Navigate to Fleet → SSAS Alerts.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Locate the vessel with the active alert.</li><li value="3" class="LexTKB__listItem">Select Reset Alert - this will reset the Vessel Status within Podium.</li></ol>For INM-C terminal types, resetting the alert status in Podium will not be enough. Upon successful testing:<ol class="LexTKB__ol1"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Instruct the crew to reset the alert onboard using the applicable terminal procedure.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">Once reset, select Reset Alert in Podium.</li></ol>For other terminal types, they will not require an onboard reset such as INM-C. All that is required is:<ol class="LexTKB__ol1"><li value="1" class="LexTKB__listItem">Select Reset Alert in Podium to send a remote reset command.</li><li value="2" class="LexTKB__listItem">The alert status clears from all displays after successful reset.</li></ol> <hr>
