# SSAS Message Formats

## SSAS Alerts Email Template

SSAS Alerts are sent using the Default HTML template for most configured SSAS contacts and flag recipients. Some flags require alerts in a specific format, so SSAS Alerts also offer additional email template options.

## Default Template

The Default HTML template is used automatically for most SSAS contacts and flag recipients. No action is needed unless the vessel's flag requires a different format.

## Additional Format Options

The following email templates are available:

-   **Minimised Plain Text** (Danish Flag)
-   **Korea Ministries of Fisheries** (Korea Flag)
-   **Mexico SEMAR** (Mexico Flag)

## Selecting an Alternative Template

1.  Open the **SSAS Contacts** section while managing SSAS contacts.
2.  Locate the Flag's Email ID for the relevant flag.
3.  Select the required Email Template from the available options.
4.  Save your changes.

If a vessel is registered under one of the flags above, you must select the matching Email Template for that flag's Email ID. Otherwise, the alert will be sent in the Default HTML format.
